There is no dearth of bizarre content on social media and we have proof. So, a video of a woman making caramel popcorn is doing the rounds of the internet. But, while making the dish, she randomly put an egg in the middle of the pan. The clip has gone crazy viral online and the internet is well, confused.

The now-viral video was shared on Twitter by a user named Lance. In the over 1-minute clip, a woman can be seen making caramel popcorn. However, before starting, she put a whole egg in the middle of the pan. Next, she added two small slabs of butter and caramel candies to the pan.

The woman then stirred continuously till the butter melted with the caramel. She then added some corn kernels and covered the pan. After a while, she turned the heat off, removed the burnt egg and put the caramel popcorn in a bowl.

The video amassed close to 6 million views and a plethora of reactions from Twitter users. While some people said that she added the egg to absorb extra heat, others had different views.
