Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

STEM kits for STEAM Lab, a project from Ms. Wortman (2)

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration becauseit supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a brand new charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I am trying to develop a STEAM lab that will have all kindergarten to sixth grade students attend. These STEM kits will allow my students to explore different aspects of STEM while working together with their peers in a hands on environment. These kids will also allow the students to be as creative as they want with my classroom. There is not one way that they can solve the challenge and they can work with their peers to come up with as many ways as they want. Period.
