All activities come in both full color and black/white options. I’ve also included directions for 3 levels of learners: Voyagers, Explorers, and Inventors. That way, you can find the best way to use these activities depending on your little one’s level.

8 LITERACY ACTIVITIES:
1.All About Me Vocabulary Words: Includes 15 word cards. Each word comes in2 fonts: traceable font and solid font. Also includes 3 activity pages for students to write these words if you choose to do a “Write the Room” activity with them and 1 page of pictures for them to “Color the Room.”
2.Hello! My Name Is: This page is EDITABLE. You type in your little one’s name in the boxes, and they can practice spelling/tracing/writing it. This activity also includes an “In My Name vs. Not In My Name” letter sort so your little one can identify the letters in their name.
3. Alphabet Letters: This activity includes all uppercase and lowercase letters. You can use it in SO many ways: matching uppercase & lowercase letters, playing Memory or Go Fish, using the letters with a sand tray or gel bag for writing them, going on a scavenger hunt, etc.
4. Time Capsule: This activity is PERFECT for the beginning of a new year! This time capsule is EDITABLE, so you will be able to add your little one’s name & the year they’re filling it out. Then you can help them complete the pages, which become an awesome keepsake for years to come! (*Also includes a Pre-K version)
5.Five Senses Sort: This fun activity helps your little one practice their fives senses while also using flexible thinking (which helps develop their executive function skills.) Your little one will choose a picture card and determine which sense mat they should put it on. But the best part…there’s no one right answer! Includes 48 picture cards.
6. Make a Rhyme: Your little one will use this activity to practice making CVC words that rhyme. Have them spin the spinner to determine the beginning sound. Then have them put the beginning sound together with a word family to create a new word, such as “bat.” Then they will fill in the bar graph. Includes word families -at, -en, -im, -og, & -up.
7. Letter Handwriting Strips:This activity helps preschoolers practice alliteration as well as their handwriting skills. There is one strip for each letter, and each strip has a child’s name and an animal (both begin with the same sound), such as “Deb has a dog.” Read the words to your little one, then have them practice writing the uppercase and lowercase letters on the strip.
8. What Are You Feeling?:This is a hands-on way to practice different feelings and strengthen fine motor skills. Your little one will roll the cube, identify & act out the feeling, then create the face on their mat with play dough. Includes feelings mad, sad, grumpy, shocked, happy, & worried.
8 MATH ACTIVITIES:
1.Subitizing Board Games: This game is all about subitizing, which is identifying the amount of objects without counting each one individually. Have them choose a card and identify the number. Then they will move to that number on the board. There are two games: Numbers 1-5 and Numbers 6-10. Each game includes cards that have hands, dice, ten frames, and dots (so your little one has opportunities to subitize in different ways.)
2. Button Patterns: Your little one will duplicate, extend, and find missing patterns on different button pattern strips. Includes 10 pattern strips that cover patterns AB, AAB, ABB, & ABC. Also includes a cube with different pattern types for yourlittle one to create their own patterns.
3. Popsicle Stick Puzzles: Your little one will put the puzzles together by matching the number to the correct number of popsicle sticks. Then they can create that number with popsicle sticks on the mat. This game covers numbers 0-10 and works on tally marks.
4. We Know Our Shapes: This activity allows your little one to practice naming and creating different 2D shapes. They can paint these shapes, use dot markers to fill them in, or use play dough to create them. Includes 16 shapes: circle, crescent, heart, rectangle, semicircle, square, oval, triangle, star, trapezoid, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, parallelogram, & rhombus.
5.I Like / I Don’t Like Sort: Your little one will get to share their opinion in this game (which we know all preschoolers LOVE to do!) They will sort the foods into “I like” and “I don’t like” groups. Then they will fill in the chart based on their answers. Includes 40 food picture cards.
6. Teddy Bear Count: Your little one will roll a die, identify the number, and circle the correct number of bears on their mat. They can also cover up the bears with a manipulative if circling is too advanced for them.
7. Share the Money: Your little one will practice higher-level thinking with this activity. They will choose a money card and a friend card, and then they will determine if they have enough money to give each friend one dollar. If that’s too advanced, you can also have them simply practice counting. Includes numbers 1-10.
8. Weigh the Marbles: This is another activity that gives your little one a chance to practicetheirhigher-level thinking skills. They will choose two cards, count the marbles, and determine which card is heavier and which card is lighter. (There is also a mat if the cards are equal). Includes numbers 0-12.
4 HANDS-ON ACTIVITY IDEAS (no printables, just directions):
1.Whole Body Trace: This is a fun activity that also makes for a great keepsake!
2.Homemade Play Dough: I’ve included directions for my favorite play dough recipe! Your little one can make their favorite color & use the play dough for all sorts of activities.
3. Frozen Letters: This is a fun activity that also helps your little one strengthen their fine motor skills.
4.Mystery Bag: Your little one will use their senses to guess which objects are in the Mystery Bag.
